As the population ages (more people living longer), the number of us caring for elderly patients, clients, family members or friends increases. This blog is a place for Caregivers to share our ideas, stories and resources with one another to make the caregiving responsibility less burdensome and more joyful.
PLEASE feel welcome to comment on individual entries, or provide your thoughts on the ElderCaring site (below).

Congrats on being Freshly Pressed! My dad (who lives with us) works in Assisted Living, and I’ve forwarded your blog to him. Really interesting insight into the compassionate caretaking of our elderly community!
As I turn 40 I often worry about aging as well as the aging of my beautiful mother. I think your blog is doing a lot of good and I look forward to your tips
Nice website. I am no longer a caregiver. My mother passed away this summer but I was her advocate, caregiver, and voice for 12 yrs. I miss her and I can tell you that I would give anything to care for her again.
At times, caregiving can be overwhelming but it really is a blessing. To be a caregiver, you are blessed beyond measure. I will never forget all the days I spent with her.
Thank you for creating a site such as this. Sometimes caregivers can feel trapped, guilty, and alone. They need a place for comfort & support.

+1
Appreciate all the helpful articles and encouraging way to live and eat.
I was a care giver for 8 years – my husband died a year and half ago – and
I was able to care for him with the help of hospice and he died at home. I
now have time to enjoy new and healthful foods and hope to regain some
energy.
